We are beyond thrilled to be growing this delicious berry ( like a raspberry and blackberry merged) that is seldom seen any longer.
Boysenberries have a relatively short fruiting season, are extremely fragile, do not keep long and absolutely do not transport well enough for todays commercial agricultural standards.
And THIS is exactly why we are growing over 50 vines within our plot on the SURF garden of the University of Redlands [under shade cloth] - to bring this now rare heirloom berry directly to our community - within hours of harvest.
Our FarmBox CSA members receive these berries in their weekly share of the harvest. As yields permit, we list berries here for purchase and direct pick-up. If it shows sold out, please add your name too the waitlist [just below the order button] and as soon as a fresh harvest is available, we will add them to inventory and you will be immediately notified.
PLEASE NOTE: when ordering, please pick up your boysenberries the same day or the next at the latest. Again, these fruits do not have a long self life and are best enjoyed within a day or two after harvest.
No refunds on product not picked up by the end of the following day of ordering.
